GADDLE MAPS is the acronim for "General Algorithm for Discrete object Deformations based on Local Exchange Maps". It is a general method to switch between structures consisting of equivalent discrete and flexible objects with different particle representation and object configuration, including different resolution levels (number of particles per object). As an specific application of the algorithm, a software was developed to exchange between atomistic and coarse-grained representations of molecules. This AR viewer shows an example of this representation exchange performed by GADDLE MAPS for a POPC lipid bilayer with a nanotube of 8 cyclic peptides with sequence RRKWLWLW (underlining represents D aminoacid residues).
